Jennifer has worked in the health field for fifteen years, including six at the Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. These experiences, as well as her studies at Georgetown University and work in fitness, have contributed to her mind-body approach to mental health.
She believes that a holistic view is often the key to mental health, and uses both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to help you reach your goals. Jennifer has developed a unique and effective approach to therapy, which can help you to strive for a healthier, more successful and balanced life.
In sessions she strives to create a warm, safe atmosphere where individuals and couples can express themselves without feeling judged. By bringing optimism to her approach, she works to highlight your strengths and abilities. Together, you can create a plan to bring about positive change within a realistic time period.
